Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Would give it more stars if I could, unbelievably good - flavour is incredible and the portions are perfect. Broth had real depth of flavour. Staff are so helpful and kind. A must visit if you're close, we will be back for sure!"
"This was a great experience- please note they are cash only restaurant. We had to go to ATM. lol. However - the meal was wonderful. Staff was friendly."
"This place only takes cash the card machine near it charges £2 go take money out so make sure you have some on you. The service was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was bought out promptly even with a full house. The food was good but it kinda got samey for me but it was great, my partner and I paid about £45 for the two of us which is reasonably priced for an all you can eat. The menu or staff tell you how long your food should be in the pot for but one thing I found was missing was that there was no chicken on the menu. Overall a good experience though which everyone should try at least once."
"A week ago, my husband and I indulged in an all-you-can-eat hot pot experience, and it was absolutely fantastic! Authentic Asian cuisine is in my top two, and this place did not disappoint—rich, flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and an impressive variety. The only thing missing? That signature Szechuan peppercorn kick! I was hoping for that addictive, tingly-numbing sensation but didn’t detect any—next time, I’ll be sure to ask. Despite that, everything else was spot on, and the service was outstanding. Can’t wait to return!"
"We had our New Year’s Eve meal at this lovely spot. With every restaurant fully booked that night, we were so lucky this one not only let us wait inside but also welcomed us warmly. The owner and family are incredibly kind, and you can tell they put genuine care into their business. Drinks are authentic and flavorful, the hot pot is amazing, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. We were even treated to fresh fruit and sweet red bean buns. Plus, the meat quality is excellent, all freshly cut. Such a wonderful find!"
"All you can eat hotpot? Sign me up! Got the spicy and tom yum broth, definitely the best it’s super flavorful and not too spicy. Get the sesame peanut base when making your sauce too. My favorites were the fish cake, pork, scallops and shrimp. Also their watermelon is surprisingly sweet and a good palate cleaner. Ambiance is decent, it’s clean but nothing over the top. Great experience for hotpot on a windy Edinburgh evening."
"Wonderful hotpot experience. Small restaurant so glad we booked ahead. One price meal (£23.50pp), tick off choices for broth, meat, fish, vegetables etc. Big portions provided! Service is very quick and staff leave you to it, but are always around if you need. Will be back again!!"
"This is one of the best hot pot I have ever tried overseas. The quality of the food is top notch and flavors are rich and spot on. The staff members are lovely and helpful. It was an excellent experience. My partner and I would have become regular customers if we lived closer. Highly recommended!"
